Description

Since (I suppose) asterisk 11, Munin graph Asterisk -> SIP channels display only 'other' codecs.

In fact it seems that munin plugin /etc/munin/plugins/asterisk_codecs waits a response like :

Peer User/ANR Call ID Seq (Tx/Rx) Format
192.168.1.135 yann 6902112b3e0 00101/00002 g729

But output of 'sip show channels' command in AMI is now :

Peer User/ANR Call ID Format Hold Last Message Expiry Peer
192.168.17.115 i3txfi 1fb1be481204b9b (alaw) No Tx: ACK i3txfi

#1 Updated by Anonymous almost 5 years ago

  • Description updated (diff)
  • Status changed from New to Code review

Bug fixed in project xivo-monitoring, branch 4782_munin_asterisk_graph. Test X-616 added in testlink.

Additional notes:

  • XiVO currently uses an outdated version of the munin plugins (package xivo-monitoring). We should use the latest version available in wheezy. (package munin-plugins-extra)
  • Even if we do upgrade to the latest version, munin only supports the output of asterisk 1.8. We should send a patch upstream to support both asterisk 1.8 and asterisk 11.
